Number Works

Sunday was the reception for the show at the Bloomingdale Park District Museum, which we rather arbitrarily entitled 'Number Works'. It will only be up for a week, so it will be seen by few people outside of the reception, but it all went very well. The gallery looked great. The art was wonderful. A good time was had by all.

At least a dozen Little City artists were able to attend. John King and Joe Flasch were seen there, hobnobbing with the crowd. Jeff Burke was also in attendance, discussing art and fashion with other attendees. A salon-like atmosphere prevailed.

Conspicuous by their absences were noted critic Alan Artner, and artist Harold Jefferies. Rumor had it that Mr. Jefferies was busy collecting materials for an upcoming art project. There was no word on why Mr. Artner did not attend.
