Calling Tony

John found a picture of Tony on the desktop and combined it with his recent photo and a portrait he had of himself from the 90's. Not sure where that little red-headed girl came from, but she keeps crashing the party.

That's beautiful."

One of These Days

John is busy pulling references from everywhere to put into his Media work.
His projects here in the Media Lab track a similar creative path to his sculptural work in the Art Studio. Things are found, collected, and added to the mass in the creation the work. Everything goes into his work even the lone candlestick.

Little Jessell

Jessell is learning to paint and collage in Photoshop. Here she is at 5 or 6. We were talking about how there were no African American dolls available for her when she was a child.

Today Harold would like to say "Exactly you got me, Little City is a good place. Little City is to me, myself a place where they would never do anything wrong.
Little City is one the few places, They will take me, go for a ride.
There are a lot of people who know nothing about us.
It's hard to find a place where they will treat us right.
Not push us around, stick us somewhere bad.

The Work John Did Today

A Cat Drinking from the Waters of Mendelssohn

I like the way Mendelssohn's music shows the picture of a cat drinking water and a fish and myself with the flowers in the pond.

President JK chooses VP

President JK is in front of the white house with his new VP. Featured next to them is their standard cell phone model, not to be confused with the special banana phone (only for emergencies). He is pondering important executive decisions such as: 'Should small children be allowed to drive cars?' and 'Is it appropriate for young women to ride on elephants?'

1998 tornado

Had dessert at the tasty freeze heading back to the apartment building - then the hail hit - the fur hit the fan - I had a premonition it might be a tornado.
Luckily no one was hurt.
