Jeff is almost finished with this piece inspired by Purple Rain. He's really good at singing along to the soundtrack while he's working on the computer.
Jeff: I like the high notes.
Jeff's fully immersed in the 80's today; he's placed Cindy Lauper in the window.
Jeff: She sings prettier, like she's got a pretty voice.

A Musical Thanksgiving
Luke is thinking about his family this holiday season. Here is little Luke held by his mother Lola.
His father is next to him.
My Uncle Isaac and Aunt Gertrude are in the picture too. I miss them. My mom and dad are up in heaven with Jesus and Beethoven, Bach, Mendelssohn, Brahms, Schumann, Liszt, Chopin, Wagner, Vivaldi, Grieg, Hayden, Schubert, Sussa, Mozart, Foster, Prokofiev, Tchaikovsky, Strauss, Handel, Paganini...
That sounds like a sandwich.
HAHAHAHAHA.
(A discussion of paninis and other assorted sandwiches leads back to the topic of cheese...)
Anything else you'd like to say about this picture?
It makes me think about heaven.

Things to be Thankful for....
Thanksgiving is a time to give thanks. Things I am thankful for- A new home, my family, a New Job- parking meter springs watch out- here I come. I am Woman hear me roar - I love Helen Reddy's song.
Mostly I am Thankful I have food on the table, and I have forgotten the bad stuff thats happened in my life and moved on.

A 1975 trip in the Family Air stream Trailer
Our family had a Air stream trailer it kinda looked like this one (a little longer- I ran out of room to draw) - we used to travel everywhere we went to Georgia, Louisiana, San Antonio, Texas, San Francisco, and New Mexico. We even spent Christmas in Florida. - The trip in 1975 was stressful, we moved from Tuscan to West Virginia and I left my school and friends. My father lost his temper in the car on this trip, but we won't go into that.
Please remember when you travel---- Watch out for Tornado Alley! Stop and get in a Shelter!-----

Luke and Joanie Love Cheese
In Memory of Candy
We're all sad that Halloween is over and the candy is finally disappearing.
Luke: We can make Christmas candy. How about chocolate Santa Clauses?
Jen: No cheese?
Luke: Cheese too- like Christmas cheese.
Jen: Bobbie really likes this image that Luke made.
Bobbie: It reminds me of Christmas.
Jen: Do they look like wrapped presents?
Bobbie: Yes, but also my mother used to make hard candy.

Meeboma
John just whipped up this portrait of Michelle ("Meeboma").
Jen: She looks beautiful and happy.
John: Her is happy. I think she's happy; I'm not sure.

What's so funny?
Witch's Familiar
Bobbie has been working on this piece all morning.
Jennifer: Are you finished?
Bobbie: Not yet- I still have to work on the rabbit.
J: Are you going to add more color?
B: mmm hmmm.
J: The witch has very intense eyes!
B: Haunting.
(Bobbie is also wondering if rabbits make noise.)
J: Good question. I had a rabbit and he didn't make too much noise, just pooped alot. I'm sure the witch's rabbit is much more interesting.
Bobbie would like to go to the library to find out more about witch's familiars. She is also interested in finding out more about angels.
