We got along pretty good. We did things- birthdays, holidays. On Christmas he surprised me with a dog - a little puppy. We hung Christmas lights together. He did geneology- ancestry. his side of the family- Scotch, Swedish, Danish, English...

I started out with 3 dogs then I decided to put another dog in there - a chihuahua. Then I added stained glass design to the picture of dogs - it was too much blue so I added more color.

Really Relaxed Pooch

He's so relaxed he's practically passed out. I feel like Pablo Picasso. I lost my cookies on the painting; I had fun doing this. Wait til he wakes up- he's going to freak out.

Up, Up, and Away!

-----------------Bobbie remembers a Balloon Festival she attended with her parents in Arizona. On that sunny day the mass of balloons filled the sky with a rainbow of bright colors and shapes.
"I enjoyed the show, all those patterns in the sky. We had lunch, and walked around watching the sky. It is a fond memory."

We were looking at these pieces Bobbie just made and it reminded her of when she used to get lost in high school in Arlington, VA - Wakefield High.
I did the meandering and the abstracts. It reminds me of a Mexican Fiesta.
Bring on the chips and guacamole!

Psychedelic Earthquake

Up in Paso Robles in a thrift store in LA they had an earthquake; also Earthquake Sensaround with Charlton Heston and Ava Gardner. She played his wife who was always jealous because he was having an affair with a widow.
-Lots of drama!
Yes- The house shook when she took too many sleeping pills and the husband called the doctor.
-Did the sensaround work?
You could feel underneath the seats in the theater.

1998 tornado

Had dessert at the tasty freeze heading back to the apartment building - then the hail hit - the fur hit the fan - I had a premonition it might be a tornado.
Luckily no one was hurt.

Pennsylvania Baroque

Bobbie's camper is changing colors as it travels through Pennsylvania.
"1986- We saw relatives in Folsom, Eddystone and Chester. In '84 my cousin's calico cat 'Mitten' had 5 babies : 1 black, 2 white, 2 cream. One of them didn't breath right so we did CPR on it and it lived."

Spring is Sprung!

Well, almost. Bobbie and I are listening to her 'echoes of nature' CD here in the media lab---lots of rain and thunder.
We feel like we're in the middle of a thunderstorm. I've got to admit that's colorful - and loud.

Wings
