She's probably looking out the window. She lives downstairs. If I say something to her, maybe she might talk back.

Yeah, she's checking the weather. Then she went in the kitchen to eat a snack.
Maybe she's also doing her laundry or something.

Jeff is almost finished with this piece. He used a film still that Jennifer had from Down By Law.
Jen: "This filmmaker shoots some scenes that have very little dialogue; he wants us to observe the characters. Sounds like you, Jeff! You like to observe."
Jeff: "Like I was trying to walk like Dianne."
Jen: "Yeah, you like to observe and imitate."
Jeff: "Imitate."
Jen: "And you like to dance like Madonna, right?"
Jeff: "Uh huh. My favorite is Like A Prayer."

Welcome Back, Sara!

This is a portrait that Jeff made of Sara, our facilitator who has just come back to the studio.

We seem to have a big cat theme today. Jeff made a black and white drawing in the studio with Dianne. We scanned it and added some color and texture. Looks great, Jeff!

Jeff is working on this portrait of Django Reinhardt (just started it yesterday). He was surprised to learn that Django was a gypsy. Jeff likes the music, but prefers listening to Prince - so that he can sing along- (quite persuasively!)

Jeff: Maybe she floated down here from the rain.
JM: From where?
Jeff: From the angels- like she's talking to me. Like she's going to McDonald's - she's going to bring me a rootbeer.
JM: Does McDonald's have a 'swim-thru'?
Jeff: yeah!

Sting's bus tour (singing to Jeff)

Here's what Jeff is working on today---he thinks he'll have it finished
by next week. He likes the progress he's making drawing shapes with the mouse. We'll see what celebrity/musician he works with next time.
